Grammar
In this lesson, we will also be discussing some basic grammar points related to the use of the particles は (wa) and が (ga). These particles are used to mark the subject and object of a sentence, respectively. Here are some examples of how these particles are used:* 私は学生です。 (Watashi wa gakusei desu.) - I am a student.
* 私はパンを食べます。 (Watashi wa pan o tabemasu.) - I eat bread.
The particle は (wa) is used to mark the subject of a sentence, while the particle が (ga) is used to mark the object of a sentence. In general, the subject of a sentence comes before the object. However, there are some exceptions to this rule, such as when the object is a pronoun.
Pronunciation
It is important to practice your pronunciation when learning a new language. Here are some tips for pronouncing Japanese words correctly:* Pay attention to the pitch of your voice. Japanese words are spoken with a high-low-high pitch pattern.
* Pronounce each syllable clearly. Do not slur your words together.
* Make sure to pronounce the final consonant in each word.
