Objectives:

Materials:
Textbooks

Procedure:1. Introduction (5 minutes)

Begin by reviewing the objectives of the lesson.
Ask students to share what they already know about writing compositions.

2. Types of Compositions (10 minutes)

Explain the different types of compositions, such as narratives, expository essays, persuasive essays, and personal essays.
Discuss the purpose and structure of each type of composition.

3. Planning an Essay (15 minutes)

Brainstorm ideas for a composition.
Develop a thesis statement.
Create an outline.

4. Writing an Essay (25 minutes)

Write the first draft of the essay.
Use the prewriting and planning materials as a guide.
Focus on getting the ideas down on paper.

5. Revising and Editing (20 minutes)

Review the first draft for content, organization, and grammar.
Make necessary revisions and edits.
Peer review essays.

6. Final Draft (15 minutes)

Write the final draft of the essay.
Proofread carefully for any errors.
Submit the final draft.
