Fireworks English Teaching Reflections: Lessons Learned17
Embarking on the journey of teaching English as a foreign language has been an enriching experience, and along this path, I have encountered countless moments that have shaped my approach and understanding of education. One particular teaching experience that left an enduring imprint on my pedagogy was a lesson I designed around the theme of fireworks.
The class comprised a diverse group of students, each with varying levels of English proficiency. To cater to their different needs, I meticulously planned a lesson that incorporated interactive activities, visual aids, and hands-on experiences. I commenced the lesson by eliciting students' prior knowledge about fireworks, encouraging them to share their associations and cultural experiences. As we delved deeper into the topic, I introduced new vocabulary related to fireworks, such as "sparkler," "firecracker," and "Catherine wheel."
