The following is a step-by-step guide on how to pray the Fajr prayer in Arabic:

1. Make Niyyah (Intention)

Before beginning the prayer, it is important to make niyyah, or intention, to pray the Fajr prayer. This can be done by simply saying the following words in Arabic:

نويت أن أصلي صلاة الفجر فرضا لله تعالى(Nawaytu an usalli salata al-fajr fardan lillahi ta'ala.)

Translation: I intend to pray the Fajr prayer as an obligation to Allah Almighty.

2. Perform Wudhu

Wudhu is a ritual washing of the hands, face, and feet that is performed before every prayer. It is a way of purifying oneself both physically and spiritually.

To perform wudhu, follow these steps:
Rinse your mouth three times with water.
Rinse your nose three times with water.
Wash your face three times, from your forehead to your chin and from ear to ear.
Wash your right arm three times, from the fingertips to the elbow.
Wash your left arm three times, from the fingertips to the elbow.
Wipe your head with wet hands once.
Wash your right foot three times, from the toes to the ankle.
Wash your left foot three times, from the toes to the ankle.

3. Stand Facing the Qiblah

The qiblah is the direction of the Kaaba in Mecca. When performing the prayer, it is important to face the qiblah so that you are aligned with the holiest site in Islam.

To determine the qiblah, you can use a compass or an online qiblah finder.

4. Say the Opening Takbir

The opening takbir is the first words spoken in the prayer. It is said while raising both hands to the ears.

The opening takbir in Arabic is:

الله أكبر(Allahu akbar.)

Translation: Allah is the greatest.

5. Recite Surah al-Fatihah

Surah al-Fatihah is the first chapter of the Quran. It is recited in every rak'ah (unit) of every prayer.

The Arabic text of Surah al-Fatihah is:

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ

صِرَاطَ الَّذِينَ أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيْهِمْ غَيْرِ الْمَغْضُوبِ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا الضَّالِّينَ

Translation:

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

All praise is due to Allah, the Lord of the worlds.

The Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

Master of the Day of Judgment.

You alone we worship, and You alone we ask for help.

Guide us to the straight path.

The path of those whom You have blessed, not of those who have incurred Your anger or gone astray.

6. Recite Another Surah

After reciting Surah al-Fatihah, you can recite another surah from the Quran. This is optional, but it is recommended to recite a short surah, such as Surah al-Ikhlas, Surah al-Falaq, or Surah al-Nas.

7. Perform Ruku'

Ruku' is the bowing position. It is performed by bending forward from the waist and placing your hands on your knees.

While in ruku', recite the following words in Arabic:

سُبْحَانَ رَبِّيَ الْعَظِيمِ(Subhana rabbi al-'adhim.)

Translation: Glory be to my Lord, the Magnificent.

8. Return to Standing

After reciting the above words, return to standing upright.

9. Perform Sujud

Sujud is the prostration position. It is performed by falling to the ground on your hands and knees and placing your forehead on the ground.

While in sujud, recite the following words in Arabic:

سُبْحَانَ رَبِّيَ الْأَعْلَى(Subhana rabbi al-a'la.)

Translation: Glory be to my Lord, the Most High.

10. Return to Sitting

After reciting the above words, return to sitting on your knees.

11. Perform the Second Sujud

Perform the second sujud in the same way as the first sujud.

12. Return to Standing

After reciting the above words, return to standing upright.

13. Recite the Tashahud

The tashahud is a short declaration of faith that is recited at the end of the prayer.

The Arabic text of the tashahud is:

التَّحِيَّاتُ لِلَّهِ وَالصَّلَوَاتُ وَالطَّيِّبَاتُ

السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ أَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ

السَّلَامُ عَلَيْنَا وَعَلَى عِبَادِ اللَّهِ الصَّالِحِينَ

أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ

Translation:

All greetings, prayers, and good things belong to Allah.

Peace be upon you, O Prophet, and the mercy of Allah and His blessings.

Peace be upon us and upon the righteous servants of Allah.

I bear witness that there is no god but Allah, and I bear witness that Muhammad is the messenger of Allah.

14. Say the Salam

The salam is the final part of the prayer. It is a greeting of peace that is said while turning your head to the right and then to the left.

The Arabic text of the salam is:

السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ(As-salamu alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh.)

Translation: Peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah and His blessings.

15. Supplications

After the prayer, it is customary to make supplications (du'as) to Allah. You can make any supplications that you wish, but it is common to ask for forgiveness, guidance, and protection.
